A:Answer Thanks, Logitech support, for your reply. I am still not sure if this remote can operate the "Folder" function on our Sony DVD "jukebox." These DVD players are rather unique in that they can hold up to 400 DVD's, CD's, or a combination of the two. The Folder function is basically an index of the discs loaded in the player (most of the disc titles are entered manually by the user, though some movies have data on the discs that the player can read and enter into the index for whatever slot the disc is in). When the Folder button on the OEM remote is pushed it brings up (on the connected tv's screen) the list of discs in the player, and the user can then browse through the titles and then click on the "play" option for a desired disc, which will then be loaded and played by the player. While I'm sure the Harmony remote will operate the standard DVD player functions (Play, Fast Forward, Pause, Stop, and so on), I don't know if the Harmony will have a button that can be used to activate the Folder function on the player, as that function is not found on a DVD player that only holds one or a few DVD's at a time, rather than up to 400 discs. I already have a bunch of $10 generic remotes that will operate the basic functions on our Sony player, but they can't operate the Folder function. I'd hate to spend $150 on a Harmony Companion remote & hub setup that similarly could not operate that critical feature of our Sony DVP-CX995V... I'll have to give some thought, and check our budget, before I make a final decision about spending $150 on a Companion system that may or may not operate everything on our Sony player...
