We purchased this for my I laws at Christmas with a samsung BD-H5900blu ray player because your site said it was compatible but how do you connect it without a PC? They haven't been able to use it and we just came for a visit and found out.”

The Blue Ray player you purchased for your In-Laws acts as a "I.S.D." (Internet Surfing Device). The back lit wireless keyboard comes with a little plug that needs to be inserted into the back of the Blue Ray Player and then the keyboard will wirelessly control both the normal blue ray player functions of the blue ray player as well as the surfing the internet functions. HOWEVER you have to get an Internet signal to the blue ray player, which is accomplished only one of two ways: by running a Ethernet cable with a live INternet signal running through it directly to the blue ray player OR purchasing a WiFi wireless stick that simply plugs into the blue ray player, if you choose this method you must use your wireless keyboard to insert your home's wireless router's security code and away you go !

Please try again later.If you are trying to use this keyboard with a TV and the player you need a TV that is connected to the internet and has a usb plug available to plug in the dongle that comes with the keyBoard. You will then be using the keyboard on the wireless system through the internet connected wifi TV.
