It does require a "receiver" in that you need a laptop, pc monitor, or television to operate the keyboard. Otherwise, where else are you trying to type?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it comes with a small USB receiver. It’s supposed to be in the upper left corner of the box when opened as it faces you. However, it could have become displaced and may be anywhere in the box. That’s how I located mine. Once you find it, just insert it in to your USB port on your pc. Btw, great choice! It’s a really solid, yet light wireless keyboard and it works flawlessly. Hope this helps.
