The Google Assistant key does act as the Windows Start key, but unfortunately you will not get F1-F12 and Caps Lock functionality when connected to Windows devices.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There's no caps lock key but this keyboard is compatible with the window's "On-screen keyboard". Windows key/Google assistant key + ctrl+ O to bring up the virtual keyboard then click the Caps button. Now everything that you type will be ALL CAPS
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The search key becomes the windows start key. So search key + Shift + s replaces windows key + shift + s. I can't speak to your other 2 questions. Except to say that the google assistant key definitely doesn't become the caps lock key.
