“Does this keyboard use the romer-g switches like the g413? If not what kind of switch is it?”

• Hello, the switches on the K840 are Romer G's.

• The keys on the K840 are more like Cherry MX Red switches. They have a smooth linear keystroke. Don't be fooled by the "clicky" name that Logi gives these keys. They make a "tap" when they bottom out but there is no actuation click like the Cherry MX Blue

• Yes, it does. As far as I can tell the only differences are color, lack of backlighting, and it doesn't come with textured caps for the WASD number and arrow keys. www.logitech.com/en-us/product/k840-mechanical-corded-keyboard
