Is the diffuser removable? null

You want even, soft fill light on your face when ZOOMing. And, ability to adjust color temp. Diffusing is built-in. Why would one want to "remove" diffusion?

It is not meant to be removed by the consumer. I find that it needs more diffusion, so have it behind a silk handkerchief.
