• Return it to Best Buy for an exchange if the receiver is missing.

• I guess you would have to contact manufacturer. It's plug and play. Once you get the dongle, and you have blue tooth, it automatically installs the mouse.

• This mouse does not have a dongle. It connects to your computer via Bluetooth.

• You don't, dongles are unique to each mouse, you have to get a whole new mouse with a new dongle. The unifying dongle only works with some models, and this one is not one of them, probably because it's an older one.
