• The scroll is automatically detected. I have both a PC and a Mac Book and when I remotely connect from my Mac Book into my PC the mouse operations are automatically detected and behave properly.

• You can download a program from Logitech that will let you configure any of the buttons including the scroll feature on the mouse.

• Per the Logitech website, the Logitech M510 mouse has a resolution of 1000 dpi.
