The trackball of set up like the M570 lets you relax your wrist and palm of your hand and allow your thumb to navigate the cursor. You can set up the speed of movement to your liking. I had used this type of trackball almost exclusively for over 20 years on CAD and playing videogames, it is much better than a mouse. You also don't need a mouse pad and quick and large movements in games are nearly not as chaotic as they are with a mouse.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Instead of moving the mouse around to move the cursor you move the ball with your thumb. I originally bought one when my daughter was a baby and I would hold her in my right arm and using my right hand on the mouse she would take her bottle and go to sleep watching me play games because I wasn't jerking her around trying to move a conventional mouse.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It takes the place of a mouse. Instead of moving your hand around the desk, you move the ball with your thumb to move the cursor on the screen.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Its how you move the pointer
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. What a Trackball Mouse allows you to do is to navigate the screen by simple rotating the ball with your thumb, rather than by moving the entire mouse. This requires much less desk space than a traditional mouse, and in fact can be placed on something that is not a smooth hard surface (a huge benefit for me).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It moves the cursor in all directions
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello User! The trackball (the rounded ball on the M570 Wireless Trackball Mouse) basically replaces your mouse pointer, so instead of having to move your mouse around to move your pointer on screen, you roll the trackball on the mouse, and that will move the cursor on screen. So you won't be physically moving the mouse around anymore, just the trackball on the mouse.
