Those buttons are for going forward and backwards on Web pages.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use those mainly within a web browser to go back and forth between web pages. You can use the scroll wheel for volume and page control. The scroll wheel can be use to minimize and maximize the zoom on a web page like google map.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can change the functionality in the SetPoint Software. Personally, I use them for Forward/Back functions. I did have to use "Keystroke Assignments" (ALT+LEFT for Back, ALT+RIGHT for Forward) - not sure if it is a browser, OS and or SetPoint issue, but I have had to do this other times to correct the functions.
