The laser sensor of the trackball is adjustable, from 400 DPI to 1200 DPI (factory default is 800 DPI). The wireless receiver is a Logitech Unifying receiver, which allows you to use the same receiver to connect multiple Unifying Receiver-compatible devices to your computer simultaneously.

According to the Logitech web site, DPI is 400 max (not hardware or software adjustable) https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360023305434-M570-Technical-Specifications

The sensitivity can be adjusted in the settings. The initial setting was too high for my liking and lowering it made using the trackball much more comfortable.
