Please try again later.USB 3 actually produces a small radio interference, and some older communications devices are affected by those interferences, so using an older USB device can have issues with USB 3 ports. This is why most devices have USB 2 and USB 3 instead of just all USB 3 ports. You are likely to see USB 2 going away in the next five to ten years as devices are designed for the more effective and faster USB 3 protocols and later.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Assuming your mouse is operational, the issue is not the trackball but with your Lenovo computer. I would remove any USB Devices connected to your computer, then uninstall any USB device drivers (first) then uninstall all of the USB Controllers, Hubs etc. then reboot, and Windows 10 should automatically install the USB Host controller. If it had a problem installing the Host controllers, then go to the Lenovo website and find out if Lenovo had its own Host controllers for USB. If so, download and install.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am using this trackball with a Toshiba laptop, USB 3.0 Hub, and Windows 7. I ran the same Trackball with USB 3.0 & Windows 10 and had a registry problem. I suspect that Windows 10 is the problem.
