Plug and play.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Logitech includes easy to follow instructions. Basically, you install the batteries, plug in the usb dongle in an open usb slot on your computer/laptop, and turn on the switches on the keyboard and mouse. That's it! Easy Peasy.

Although they don't tell you, you need to go to the web site listed in the box to install software. If you just activate batteries and plug in the receiver, the basic functions will work. If you want the other buttons, like I do, you have to install their software. Don't use the SmartInstaller, but scroll down and select the 64- or 32-bit version, as appropriate. The SmartInstaller wasn't smart enough to figure out what my Dell machine was.
