This was driving me crazy as Logitech used to have the option to change the Camera key to Print Screen in the past and for some reason, with their Logi options+ update, they removed Print Screen as one of the keys you can remap it to. All of the suggestions here are not helpful. So here is how to add Print Screen to the Logitech MX Keys: 1. Open the Windows on screen keyboard 2. Open Logitech Logi Options+ (you will need to install it if you haven't done so) 3. Select your Logitech MX Keys keyboard 4. Select the icon for the camera key on the keyboard as shown in the attached screenshot 5. Choose "Keyboard shortcut" to map a new key. 6. Go to the onscreen keyboard and click on the Print Screen onscreen key. It should appear now on the Logitech app. 7. Close the Logitech app. P.S. The reason for me not wanting to use the Screen Capture feature built into Windows, which the Logitech software opens when you press on the camera key, is because I use a better software application for my screen captures.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.In the Logi Options+ software you have to click on that camera key to remap, then choose "Screen capture" under other actions. It will then use the traditional "prnt scrn" button instead of the default which brings up the Windows snipping tool. The other option is to click keyboard shortcut, then press the print screen on your laptop if it has it, or plug in a different keyboard that has it so you can press it, then it will map that specific key.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Actually, so sad it is, MX Keys does not have a separate PrtScn Button anymore. The only option to get PrtScn functionality back, is to install the proprietary Logitech Options Software, and remap this specific Key to actually to a PrtScn.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the camera photo icon above numpad is the printscreen key
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.on this keyboard there is a camera icon above the / symbol which is above the number pad. hold down windows key+ camera icon to take the snip. This works on all keyboards I know of....You can find the camera icon on most boards and press it down with the windows key for a snip n sketch or screenshot or print screen as some call it. You can also put the print screen in taskbar and hold down FN+ the number 1-0 corresponding with the spot in the taskbar of the icon. Example: If print screen is the 5th icon in the taskbar like in my screen shot, hold down FN+5 and print screen will open. You then have to use the mouse to select the type of snip like full screen or draw a square around it instead of an auto snip. This works for any icon in the 1-0 order in the taskbar. Just hold down FN+ a number from 1-0....0 being the tenth spot, corresponding with the icon to open
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've tried all the tips. I cannot take a straight screenshot without mouse intervention via My MX Keys S screenshot button. Changing it to 'Screen Capture' in Logi Options+ does the same; brings up the snipping tool gui. I tried turning it off in Accesibility, and that either gives me the same or, if I change it to 'Screen Capture' in Logi Options+, disables it doing anything. I finally just defaulted to using GeForce Experience, which is always running in the background, and set the screenshot key to the Slash under the screenshot button; Numpad / In other words, use third party software to take a simple screenshot. The more I try and use Logi Options+ the more I see how little it does, while spending so much effort on wanting me to login.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hold opt| start + camera you will see it dim screen and it will be saved in Pictures - Screenshots :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If using Windows 11 and want to reassign print screen key from Snipping Tool to some other app, may need this step: Windows 11 Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard > Use the Print Screen key to Open Snipping Tool {Turn this off}
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The keyboard is for some reason sending "Super (flag) key + Shift + O" instead of a proper Print Screen. In linux mint you can create custom commands for replacing the screenshotter; I recommend flameshot. See image regarding Menu -> keyboard and custom shortcut.
