Hello, the MX Master 3 has an on/off switch on the bottom. We advise to turn off the mouse manual when it is not in use, to better conserve the battery life.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I never turn mine off, and the rechargeable battery seems to last for quite a while, (months for sure). It did eventually start flashing the light on top, telling me I needed to recharge. I plugged in a USB cable to charge it, and just kept on working. It's kind of like having a corded mouse for an hour while it charged. I probably could have kept going for the rest of the day and then just charged it that night.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it has its own automatic sleep mode to preserve battery life.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the MX Master 3 does have a sleep mode. my previous mouse was the original MX Master mouse and i rarely ever turned it off. i bought the mouse back in 2013, and to this day in 2021, it STILL works. never had to replace the battery.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The battery lasts so long there’s no need to turn it off. I can go over a month or two depending on usage - and I’m a heavy user as a video editor. When I move between devices, there’s a slight delay so I imagine there is a “deep function,” but it’s not overtly used and is managed by the device itself.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi! The Mouse would need to be manually turned off to deactivate it. However, I have (by mistake) left it on all night and I don’t notice a huge dent to its battery, so it most likely does have some sleep mode. I’m not sure though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Last month I kept the mouse on while not using it. Also used the High DPI due to my multiple monitors. Worked almost 8 hours a day and got 20 days of battery life. This month I keep the mouse off while not using it at night time. downgraded the DPI to 2000 and now I think it is giving me more battery like 40 days. yes, it is frustrating having a 20-day max lifetime while the company claims 70 days. I know it depends on uses but dude, where is 20 and where is 70? At least 50 days than what I was expected. -------------------------------- Sultan Neer Professional User Experience Researcher User Interface Designer Specializing in mobile games, apps, and websites.
