• you wont get all of the great features, such as logitech flow or customization of the different buttons and inputs, but most pre-programmed button shortcuts are the ones you will need. left click, right click, horizontal scroll wheel, back/forward buttons and desktop view button (under the thumb)

• Hello, the MX Master 3 will work with your computer as soon as you connect it. The Logitech Options software gives you added bonuses like FLOW and the ability to reprogram the buttons, but the mouse will work without it.

• You can use the mouse without installing software, but you will need to install Logitech’s software to access the customization options for the MX Master 3.
