After you try this one (the $999) and you go back to the $250 one the difference is massive, to the point the $250 one will feel like a cheap noisy toy. This one has so much more force feedback detail and stregth (~2.5nm vs 11nm) and pretty much silent. It gives you a much more realistic experience. Also the build quality is way superior. But it all depends how much you like racing games and your budget. But if you do have the budget for it and are really into racing games, I would say is absolutly worth it. But be aware that the $999 one sold by BestBuy is PC only, will not work on consoles, if you want console compatibility you have to buy from Logitech. But the $250 one you can buy from BestBuy and choose which console you want it for.

You can feel the improvement in response over the $250 wheel because of the technology inside. If you don’t know what Direct Drive is (DD), then you likely do not need it, but yes this is worth $750 more than their consumer grade offerings. Also, the wheels can be replaced on this when new wheels become available.
