“When you fold the keyboard back behind the iPad is there some type of cover that covers (protects) the keyboard. I had purchased the Apple Smart Keyboard and liked everything about it except the back of iPad wasn’t covered. Thank you”

This cover is designed so that when you close it, the keyboard closes OVER the screen of the ipad and the back of the ipad is mostly enclosed in the case itself but the pull out stand that flattens is also covering the small opening that is back there. Once it is fully closed, there is the flap that attaches magnetically from the front to the back to secure it. I previously had the other Logitech cover for my iPads but this one is so much better! No charging separately and the keys can not come off (which I had issues with) I also wanted a case that totally covered my ipad and this one is the best. Apple even told me that theirs would not cover he entire device so I went with the one I knew, but upgraded to this case and am happy I did! You can not go wrong!
