• A:Answer I have purchased this keyboard and had to replace the two 2032 watch batteries that run it once since I purchases my iPad in January 2020. There is access panel on the back left side above the home key. Carefully pull the panel out and put your two new batteries in. I hope this helps.

• A:Answer Yes that is a good choice, the Apple keyboard may be a little better quality, but not by much and the logictech protects the ipad much better and works quite well. Major difference is apple keyboard is powered by ipad, logictech has a battery the they say should last over a year, but then will need to be replaced.

• A:Answer Use a small screw driver like one you might us on eyeglasses. Pry gently til it opens a little and then slowly work it out with your fingers. Not super easy but doable.

Q: QuestionIs the light above the battery supposed to always be lit? When I first open up iPAD and connect to keyboard, it’s green, then it turns white, then it blinks white, and then it’s blank … we thought we needed to replace the batteries, but this is the same.

• A:Answer Hello, When the LED is a solid green that means the battery is charged. The quickly blinking white light means the keyboard is in discovery mode and ready for pairing. Once that light is solid, that means that pairing or connection was successful. The light then turns off to save energy. If the light turns a solid red, then the battery is low (less than 20%) and needs to be charged. While charging, the light will blink green. - Richard from Logitech
