“It says that it is for the third gen and the 4th gen iPad, but the camera for the iPad Pro 4th gen (2020) is different as the third gen (2018) iPad so for which ipad is this case?”

• It works for both iPad models. The camera hole is large enough for the newest one but also works for the 2018 model. Fits ours great

• It fits both. If you have the 202 iPad it will fit around the camera exactly. If you are using the 2018, there will be some extra space in the opening because the camera is smaller

• This case is compatible for both 3rd and 4th gen iPad Pro 12.9”. The reason it is compatible with both is because the 3rd gen camera fits in the cutout that is dedicated for the 4th gen LIDR camera. Though it is truly made for 4th gen, the 3rd gen iPad will fit in as well.
