Yes, this Logitech - Slim Folio cover with keyboard will charge the pencil. I did not buy the pencil but tested the cover with a small battery to see if it would hold the pencil. Yes it did at the top just as though you had no cover on it.

Hello Renae. The Slim Folio Pro does not charge your Apple Pencil. There is a spot to store the pencil in the magnetic flap, but it doesn't charge it.
