QuestionWhat type of adapter does this product need? I want to order both products together. What is the adapter needed for? I will be using this for training videos, not gaming. Thanks for the help!

- Answer You will need a USB C (female) to USB (male) adapter, unless you have a USB C port on your PC. The adapter is simply used to convert the cams USB C connector into a regular USB so you can plug it into a PC without a native C port.

- Answer What I am gleaning so far from reviewers and forums is that the camera will work, BUT the Logitech Screen Capture software is not compatible. I am still trying to figure out if this compromises the functionality of the camera's operation and settings with Apple M-1.

- Answer A small lightweight tabletop tripod is included which will get you a 4.5 to 7 " in height with its telescoping legs with a ball head. If you still want another tripod, the included adapter will fit any standard tripod screw (1/4"). Not knowing what the application is, I cannot point you to a specific tripod. Barring that, pretty much most tripods you look for will fit the 1/4" 20 thread screw.

- Answer Yes, the StreamCam does support Linux. The webcam is UVC enabled but doesn't offer all modes on certain versions of Linux, Manjaro seems to be the main issue. Manjaro can only detect UVC 1.5, whereas the StreamCam is 1.0, but still doesn't provide full capabilities to support certain resolutions.

QuestionWhat is the default fps without the Logitech software? I will be connecting this to a work computer and I might not be able to install the Logitech Software. I will be using it with Microsoft Teams.

- Answer The camera does not film or record. You have to run software on your PC to do that. The most common programs for recording and/or streaming on the PC are either Logitech Capture (free from Logitech's site) or OBS Studio. Logitech Capture DOES have a pause button on the recording function. Capture also does chromakey effects (blue screen or green screen) and PIP overlays. It also provides the auto tracking function, which allows the camera to zoom in on you and move around when you do. OBS also has a Pause Recording function, but you need to set up a hotkey for it. (For example: Alt-F12).

QuestionDoes this work with Chromebooks and with Google Meet? I've seen conflicting reviews on whether this specific camera works with Chromebooks. Also, Google Meet doesn't seem to allow me to use a USB camera (Hangouts, Zoom do...on the same Chromebook)

- Answer Depending on the program you are using, yes. Most video conferencing programs, such as Skype and Zoom, give you this ability in your microphone settings.

- Answer There is no software to install with this webcam. You just plug it into your device and you're ready to go. This is a great webcam and the picture is of great quality especially if you're using it on a Mac.

- Answer Hello Nj, the StreamCAm Plus webcam was built and designed for PC's in mind. Although it doesn't say it supports Xbox, you'll have to look up how to connect an external webcam to your Xbox. You won't have access to any of the extra features the StreamCam has to offer, since you aren't connected to a PC. I'd suggest looking at a C920 webcam, that one is a plug and play webcam that is half the price and will work with your Xbox. Have a great day.

- Answer Hey! Yes, the Logitech StreamCam Plus has two built-in microphones. However, you can use a separate microphone instead, depending on the program you're using.

- Answer At this time, the StreamCam Plus Webcam is only compatible with either a Windows or Mac computer. You will have to use a Playstation Camera if you want to be able to broadcast to YouTube.
