QuestionWhat chimes is this compatible with? Do I have to remove my diode? It’s not working on my electronic chime. When I remove the diode the chime keeps ringing and the lorex does not work. When I leave the diode the lorex does not work.

- Answer Add the doorbell “chime kit” even though the stupid instructions tell you not to when you have an electronic doorbell. Remove the diode and your doorbell will work.

- Answer If you have the Fusion NVR - yes you can. 1. Go to your NVR and login (admin pswd) - 2. right click on your main screen. - 3. Select Camera Registration 4. Select device search. It will find your doorbell which will be listed at the top of the screen - 5. Select Add - the doorbell will then appear on the bottom list of devices. It will have a RED circle status light 6. Select Reconnect ICP button 7. Enter the password you created for your doorbell when you installed it. It will tuen be connected - note - I don’t think this will work for the DVR as it is not intended to. This is only if you have their Fusion NVR. Also note that because this is an add on device, once you add it to your NVR, you will now see it twice listed on your Lorex Home app. Go to YouTube - you’ll see a video explaining all of the above. https://youtu.be/LbE8CZMLB5I

- Answer The description states it is a wifi device. It is wired in the sense that it uses your existing doorbells wiring to provide power to the device, so no changing batteries. It will not be accessible through the NVR system but will be accessible through the Lorex app on your phone where you will have access to the rest of the cameras connected to the NVR system.

QuestionOn my doorbell the indoor chime rings once. Thats good. But the door bell itself has its own ring that keeps going 6 or 7 times before shutting off. How do I shush this. Makes it hard to hear anyone.

QuestionMy existing electronic chime (Westminster) required a diode. The only way I can get this to work is to remove the diode, but then when the video doorbell is pressed, the chime speaker has feedback, then chimes 1.5X instead of once...any fix for this?

QuestionI have a Lorex 2k QHD Video Doorbell and I am not able to connect to my Lorex NVR system. I thought I had it, I hit the Forget This Network button by mistake and now it (of course) says can’t find network. I put in numbers and letters by hand nothing.

- Answer Yes, I had problems until a switched from a 16 vac transformer to a 24vac transformer to run the doorbell and chime.
