You will receive a email with the Lyft code, just give them the code or forward the email to your friend.

Choose Lyft e-mailed delivery, then choose the amount of gift card value you want, choose "buy now" or "put in shopping cart". Then check that the email address (displayed from your account information) is correct as it will be sent to your email address -or- it will ask you to type in another email address for sending the emailed delivery of gift card purchase. You will receive an email from Best Buy as a confirmation of your purchase with instructions to change or cancel your order while it is processing (which usually takes about 15 minutes). You can check gift card processing status by clicking the URL address link in that email or click "my purchases" on the Best Buy app when you are signed in. Easy redeem -- you receive an email saying "congratulations your gift card is ready!" just click on to the URL address link and then click "activate now" and a pop-up with the gift card number and four digit PIN information will be displayed there. You can click "post to my Gmail account" and you can save it to your Gmail, Google drive and/or Google Pay (which are all attached to your Google account) so you can have the card saved and ready to post/load gift card cash to your Lyft account whenever you want. I buy gift cards with Uber because I have no money on a debit card. Is my way of paying cash to ride. Butt Lift wants you to have a backup payment with just as much money as the gift card on it it's BS. As soon as I put my card in my account wolf cancelled my account so I never got to use my $50 gift card one time. Always choose Uber if possible
