QuestionIs there a 16GB model? Every retailer has it besides Best Buy. Many would wanna purchase this.

- Answer You may be looking at the "Old" Intel model that had a 16GB spec model, this New M1 MBP has only (for now) two models that the only difference is the SSD storage, if you want any dif. spec you need to buy it directly from Apple.com and do the upgrades from them.

- Answer Probably not due to Bestbuy not even having all configurations of the Macbook Pro 16, the $1799 Macbook Pro and not having all configurations of the 2019 MacBook Air. Plus they didn't include I7 models towards 13-inch MBP or MBA. If you can, they are available on B&H or Apple Store

- Answer Yes, the Macbook *Pro* does, but the Air does not. This new model is running Apple's in-house CPU which is actually similar to an iPhone/iPad's, but pumped full of steroids... for lack of a better way of putting it. It legitimately does work well, and you'd be hard pressed to make this laptop nearly as hot as similar Intel models. Mine runs all day for At-Home work w. a thunderbolt display and the fan Never comes on.

- Answer Bought mine at Bestbuy - I had reward points to help pay for it. They have Geek Squad protection and Apple Care if you ever need service. You can order directly from Apple; because I don’t know if the newer models will be on sale anytime soon.

- Answer Rando is wrong. You can configure the M1 MBP with 1TB SSD but only as a custom order through apple. If you want to buy 1TB SSD through best buy you will either have to use external storage or purchase the 2020 intel MBP 13.3 inch model

- Answer That used (and still) to be the case for the more expensive model with Intel processors, Apple has changed that at least for this first Gen of M1 models, the only thing you get upgraded is the storage.

- Answer They probably won't, because it's not part of the default models, technically it doesn't exist as a pre-spec, only as an upgrade through apple.com.
