A:Answer Im still working out the links with the M1 Mac after I used Migration Assistant from my Intel MBP. I have a brand new system - two weeks old - running Mac OsX 12. Logic Audio has an M1 version. Works great but think it only supports AU plugins - so for example Native Instruments and Cherry Audio working great. Reason is not M1 and uses Mac Rosetta to run. Seems to run fine itself with all of its jnstruments but then issues with VST instruments - CPU maxes out and you get terrible dropouts. Ableton Live 11 has an M1 version ready but projects not backwards compatible with Intel version (I havent had a chance try it out yet). Reaper is not working whatsoever. Hopefully they have an M1 version ready - i havent checked. Loopcloud works fine too. My iLok transfer went through, but having trouble activating second licenses for all the various software (Softtube, Waves, MPC Beats, etc) even though i have them available. Also, companies have a lot of chatter about not yet compatible with Mac OsX 13 and also some talk about having to repurchase Waves plugins to get M1 versions. So be careful if you rely on certain plugins because they may not be available. The good things: i have enough space to support sample libraries now. I can open the lid and starting developing ideas in seconds in Reason or Logic - the speakers sound so much better than before - though still need headphones to work properly with 808 sounds. I bought it for that reason - speed up my workflow - so two weeks in am happy with it so far. Hope this helps.
