- Answer If you purchase a 2021 MacBook model (14” or 16”), how “adequate” memory for gaming will depend on what kind of gaming you are looking to do. For instance, if you are just going to play games through the AppStore or Apple Arcade 16GB RAM will be more than enough. However, with gaming services such as GeoForce Now work on being more adaptable with MacOS, 16GB on these new machines may begin be used up in larger quantities. To make it simple, 16GB on the new 2021 MacBook Pros should be good for most gaming, but if you are looking more long term and interested in using more machine stressing services (GeoForce Now), then I’d look at models with 32GB RAM.

- Answer Yes it also surprisingly even comes with a brick still unlike the apple phones. The brick however is larger then I expected but know with that. The charging speed it’s stupid fast. Battery life can last 22 straight hardcore running hours or 4 days with simple work flows in my experience

Questionhow many external displays can this MacBook support?

- Answer With this model only two external displays but I have discovered that as long as you have a similar iPad Pro to mine ( 5th gen 12.9 ) then you can use the apple mouse one both devices along with the two external displays so that is a total work space of four screens simultaneously.

- Answer No however you can apply for an easy to get credit card at bestbuy to put part of the cost on that and get 12 months 0 interest or claim the points your choice whichever you so choose.

- Answer Apple's Mx chips are a much more efficient design than the Intel chips. This efficiency lets the Mx-based Macs do more with less. I have this same laptop with the same amount of RAM and use Final Cut Pro on it; it performs significantly better than my previous i7-based MBP with the same amount of RAM. So unless you plan on doing some really intensive tasks, 16 GB will be plenty.

- Answer Yes. If an application has not been written for the Mx line of chips, it will run in an emulator called Rosetta. This apps will appear as Universal in the Get Info window in the Finder. I have run a mix of universal and native apps over the past year and cannot tell the difference. The most commonly used and popular apps have now been ported to Apple Silicon. Either way, it should not be a problem.
