  • QuestionI have downloaded Malwarebytes again after a few years on Lyrica. I KEEP getting an Annoying popup staying it has blocked access to a pup. 500+ in three days. Intrusive and irritating to say the least. Any way to stop this? Wasnt like his before

    • Answer so you must have had a adware on your system, the attack vector for adware usually is web browsers, surfing unsafe websites, or what is called "Potentially Unwanted Program". so you have a malicious softare and Malwarebytes engine was letting you know to takecare of it. you can suppress the notification in malware bytes but that is not good, instead takecare of bad software and remove it from your PC.

    • Answer It will work no problem, just always good to have both, also if you use chrome, install the malwarebytes browser guard too, you can download that or also for firefox, since too many sites have thirsty ads and hidden junk. I would switch to using ESET and get rid of mccaffee though, that is as bad as norton.

    • Answer There is zero signs that Malwarebytes has even thought of not supporting Windows 7. Yes Windows 7 will continue to be supported. You should de-couple / differentiate what Microsoft supports vs what Malwarebytes does.

    • Answer It depends on what date you install it. You get 365 days from the date you insert your new code. If you install it too early, you will lose some of those 365 days, They do not add them to the days you have remaining on your current subscription. That is a big negative about Malwarebytes. They keep reminding you to renew with pop-ups, but if you do it a month early, you will lose a month.

Easier to buy a new license and they cracked down on the 3 installs, sometimes you can de-activate, but used ot be easier, but you can always download the software from malwarebytes dot com and then goto activate license and put the license in that is in the digital order
