• A:Answer The biggest difference I see is the way the head is controlled. The advanced model has standard arm controls and the Action tripod has a pistol grip with a thumbwheel lock. Most photo purists will like the arm controls while the pistol grip is quick and easy but less stable.

• A:Answer It’s not a fluid head, but for the price it’s fine. I’ve used a canon 7D on it and my iPhone. The size and weight of 7D works better on it. IPhone pivot point and lightness makes it more susceptible to vibration etc. Overall I would say if you are panning most of the time while shooting, spend more to get a fluid head that also has a quick leveling mechanism and built in level bubble.

Comes with cell phone attachment, camera lock attachment, and a nice padded carry bag with a string strap. Fits nicely in my smallest camera bag too. Very lightweight.
