QuestionI currently have an SR7008 and planning to upgrade. Even though this model does not come with a set up microphone, can you use one for advanced setup? If not, how do you fine tune the surround sound to the room?

- Answer The Marantz SR6014 does have a setup microphone and a cardboard tripod. The setup is super easy and takes about 15-30 minutes depending on the # of speaker you have.

QuestionWhat are the dimensions of the amp? Also any truth to it being a heat sink generating considerable heat during extended use? Asking because it will have to go into a cabinet in my residence.

- Answer 15.38 by 17.38 by 6.38 are the dimensions With the receiver in a cabinet I will tell you it gets hot. I bought a aircom T8 rear cooling fan. Sucks up heat from amp and moves it to rear of cabinet. Looks like it was made for the receiver. $119.99

QuestionI'm building my home theatre and looking at this receiver. I am running 3 TV's around the room. Will this be able to mirror the signal of say my bluray player to the three TV's through monitor 1, monitor 2, and Zone 2?

QuestionIf I plan on running my xbox series x and my PS5 through the TV, and then using the earc to pass the audio, will I still be able to get Dolby Atmos? Also, will i still be able to play games at 4k 120 hz?

- Answer I had the same question this will only do 60hz. Take a look at what I found for you. “ The unit comes with an impressive 7 HDMI inputs and 3 HDMI outputs which is the same number as before. But this year all of them are supporting the newer HDCP 2.3 which means 4K/60 Hz full-rate pass-through, Dolby Vision compatibility, HDR, HLG and BT.2020. There is also eARC support but this year we also get HDMI Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) that can be used with an Xbox and a TV that supports it in order to provide a more responsive behavior to your commands.“

Questioni was informed that you can set the front porthole window to show the current surround sound processing instead of the showing the basic input that is being used. how is that done?

- Answer I would. I just didn’t want to wait when I bought my 6014. The only big feature of 6015 is 8k. I am very happy with the 6014.

QuestionMy pioneer 904 has a built in feature where when the receiver gets to hot(high temps) it will lower the DP by 3 points. then the fans kick in and if i lower the dp by 3 points in a few mins the fans will kick in,Does this receiver do the same thing?

- Answer I’ve here heard the fans in my Marantz 6014, but it does get warm. It’s needs air.

- Answer I think you can get a two into one RCA cable, connect to the back of the sub and into the sub 1 on the back of the 6014.
