Will this be used only with joy cons? null

You can play the game with any controller or control system the Nintendo Switch supports! Since this game is a celebration of all Mario Party releases & most of those used button controls, everything in Superstars is played with button controls.

The new one right now does not make you use joy cons only.

My 3rd party pro controllers work with this one!!

Nope, you can use any controllers that are compatible with the Switch, such as the Pro Controller or any USB controller!
