Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Rusty, thanks for contacting us. The CD player would need to have a screen to manually select the Emberton to pair to, much like your phone does. The Emberton II speakers (and all other Marshall Bluetooth speakers) don't automatically connect to any nearby Bluetooth device, they need to be manually paired. Another thing to consider is that it may be necessary to use a pre-amp with the CD player to bring the audio signal up to line level.
