Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for your question Brody. Marshall speakers will not be able to be used as guitar amps as they lack pre-amplification on the inputs. This means that the speaker can only accept a line-level input from a device that has its own amplification, like a computer, phone or perhaps something like a DJ controller. Guitars and basses have a very low level signal as they are unable to produce any amplification on their own. The speakers do have amplification, but it is post-input. Post amplification will exponentially boost a signal, but if the signal is zero going to the amp, the amp would multiply the volume, but it would be 0 x Amplification amount, which would always equal zero.
