A:Answer I preordered this edition today, after first calling Best Buy corporate to ask them this same question, as it confused me too. The rep I spoke with said I will be getting an email before the game releases that will have a code to download the full game on Sept. 1. He said that I will still get the physical copy in the mail but that the code will allow me to download the game - so it's possible the disc is superfluous in this case. As of yet, I have not gotten a code in my email, so I will update this response in a few days after I hopefully get it. I presume it goes to the email you use during checkout, in my case it was my member email. Hope this helps.
