Wasn't aware of a problem. Mine works fine. Reading the reviews before buying about 2 months ago didn't see anything about it. The LED light's are bright, can not read the words under it when lite. Like that the door handle is just pulled nothing to repair ( kitchen-aid handle broke, twice). Just hope it doesn't catch fire like the last Maytag years back, they just wanted to replace the wire harness, really! NEVER go to bed running the DW or any appliance! If you are asking about a reset of control's, apparently its done by turning off the breaker at panel if hard wired or outlet the switch for the outlet, for a minute.

If we even lean on it a bit, it turns on-when we don’t want it to, of course. But when we WANT it to run or shut off the controls don’t respond. I HATE it. Very very disappointed with this part of the dishwasher. At present, it is also not draining and we have only had it for 13 months.I have wasted hours trying to get it to drain with no luck. Save yourself the grief and don’t buy. I will have to call Maytag tomorrow. I would NEVER buy this again.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not ran into any problems of any sort with this model nor is it showing signs of malfunctioning. To me it actually a tad bit too sensitive because my cousin can run its fingers across it and it turns on.
