I agreed that they should have a cycle that fills up, agitates for a short time & then soaks as long as you want it to. So what I do is put the items in the washer, set on the "soak" cycle, let it fill & agitate (I use a bit of detergent) for about 5 minutes (before it drains). Then I raise the lid so that it stops the cycle. The yellow light flashes but I don't care. If I want, I add other stuff that want to soak in with the already soaking items & let them soak also. When I am done soaking, then I use the "drain & spin" or the "rinse & spin". Then wash as usual.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I despise this brand new $1000 washing machine. Nothing you do lets you soak clothes longer than 10 minutes before the machine drains. If you want to soak whites over night you're out of luck. Don't buy any machine with a sensor if you want control over how you wash your clothes.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi AlwaysDoingLaundry, thank you for your inquiry. The soak cycle usually lasts approximately 10-15 minutes. During this cycle the washer will use intermittent agitation and soaking. After time has expired, water will drain, but the washer will not spin. Cycle is complete.
