• On the dryer, yes the door can be switched to the opposite side. The washer, I believe you would need to order the washer with the door on the side you prefer.

• Yes. Best Buy prefers to swap them in their warehouse before delivery but most of the delivery teams will swap them if asked. You can also swap them yourself.
