Where does the detergent go? null

That was one of my first questions! Especially because you cannot open the lid to put it in the water after you start it. I never could find a source for this answer so I just put it in right on top of the clothes before I start the machine. If you know a better way or how to stop the machine and and open the lid after you have started it I would love to know that!

Hello Nicole, Add a measured amount of HE detergent or single dose laundry packets into the basket. If using oxi-type boosters, color-safe bleach, or fabric softener crystals, add to the bottom of the washer basket before adding clothes. NOTE: Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to determine the amount of laundry products to use.

What basket? When i add soap first to the tub i have residual soap after the wash. I am using the correct amount

In the tub if its a pod or in a drawer if its liquid

Detergent goes in first. Before clothes.
