A:AnswerWe only had this machine a few weeks when we noticed it wasn't agitating. The repairman noticed the transmission engagement lever had popped out. He engaged it and within a few washes it was doing the same thing. He replaced the entire part and now within 4 months of being replaced it is doing the same thing. This could be the same problem you could be having as then the washer doesn't agitate and also doesn't completely spin out the clothes.
A:AnswerPUSH PAUSE WAIT FOR CLICK THAT SAYS LID IS UNLOCKED AND LOCK LIGHT GOES OFF THEN LIFT LID ADD ADDITIONAL PIECES CLOSE LID AND HIT PUASE AGAIN AND YOU WILL HEAR THE CLICK OF THE LID LOCKING AGAIN AND ACHINE WILL RESTART.
A:AnswerIT WILL NOT START TO AGITATE IMMEDIATELY BUT AFTER IF FILLS FOR A COUPLE OF MINUTES IT WILL AGITATE. IT WILL START AND STOP UNTIL WASHER FILLS TO DESIRED LEVEL THEN IT WILL AGITATE UNTIL WASH PART OF THE CYCLE FINISHES.
A:AnswerTHIS MACHINE HAS A CLEAN CYBLE THAT USES A POD AFFRESH CLEANER BU I SUPPOSE YOU COULD PUT A CUP OF VINEGAR IN THE MACHINE AND USE THE CLEAN WASHER CYCLETO CLEAN IF YO DO NOT WANT TO USE AFFRESH POD.. I KNOW OF NO OTHER DRAIN OTHER THAN THE DRAIN HOSE.
A:AnswerYou are correct ... the water levels are far too low unless you use the Bedding Setting. I dug into this online after noticing the same thing... lots of people complaining about it, with some lame rebuttal statements saying that "HE washers all do this and use clothes rubbign against each other to clean" ... which makes no sense at all. The clothes don't even move around when we use the standard setting or get detergent on them. We just use the Bedding setting. Feel free to complain to Whirlpool and Best Buy. Other than that we do like how it works (on the bedding setting) and I dont know if all HE washer do this. It does seem like the water level setting is simply not correct.
A:AnswerNOT AS YOUR ARE USED TO. THE MACHINE SENSES THE LOAD AND FILLS WITH WATER UNTIL THERE IS ENOUGH TO CLEAN THE LOAD. THE ONLY EDTRA YOU CAN SET IS DEEP FILL AND YOU CNA USE IT ONOL ANY CYCLE BUT WITH THE BEDDING CYCLE DEEP FILL WILL FILL THE MOST IT CAN IN THE MACHINE. I HAVE HAD THIS WASHER FOR 3 YEARS AND MY LOADS, NEVER OVERFILL, ARE ALWAYS CLEAN WHEN I LET THE MACHINE CHOSE THE WATER LEVEL. IF HAVE USED DEEP FILL ON A LOAD THAT WAS EDTRA DIRTY A FEW TIMES AND AGIN ALWAYS CLEAN.
A:AnswerMY THOUGHTS ARE NEVER TRY TO USE A NORMAL CYCLE TO WASH JEANS. I ALWAYS US THE DEEP FILL WATER LEVEL AND THE BEDDING CYCLE FOR HEAVY LOADS LIKE JEANS OR ANY HEAVY LOADS LIKE THAT OR REALLY DIRTY LOADS. VWHNE I DO EVERYTHING COMES OUT GREAT AND CLEAN. STUDY YOUR CCLES AND YOU WILL FIND THE COBINATION THAT WORKS FOR YOUR LOADS. YOUR SIMPLE CANNOT OVERFILL TIS MACHINE, CLOTHES HAVE TO HAVE ROOM TO MOVE.
A:AnswerThe trick is not to hit the pause button to restart. Just push the start button and it will return to where it left off in that cycle.
If just washing king sheets by themselves be sure to evenly place them in the washer and not just tossing them in as a ball of fabric.
A:AnswerMaybe try re starting it , unplug it then plug it back in, you might have to have a service call i think the lid controls alot of the operation
A:AnswerI've read the manual several times thinking I needed to do something or was doing something wrong. I have to wash all my clothing on Bedding to be able to get approximately about 10 inches of water. So I must wash more loads to get them cleaned properly. Very disappointed. Who do I report this to? Maytag or Bestbuy?
