“Consumer Reports says Top Loaders with an agitator do not clean clothes as good as Front Loaders or Top Loaders without an agitator. Is this true with this model?”

Im not sure i completely agree Whereas I do agree the front load washer cleaned our clothes very well, the top load washer without the agitator left our clothes dingy looking. so we returned it and got the one with the agitator and our clothes were cleaner

It has an improved water level sensor so it washes with the optimal level to float the garments and allow water to agitate up and down through the load, not just spritz water on the top. So it really washes clothes thoroughly without using too much water, it matches the level to the load accurately and the agitator is effective. The glass top makes it easy to see and adjust the settings during the wash cycle. Much better than the early HE washers that damaged fabrics with too little water and too much friction.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Try the MVWP575GW. It’s the only one that will fill up with water all the way. All of the other top loaders are water saving, thus they are junk.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have only had this washer for about three weeks and I have no complaints about how it washed. The clothes have been clean, I haven’t used washed any heavily soiled item yet but also keep in mind how big the load is and the type of soap you use.
