which should i use tap cold or cold when washing delicate
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Abby, if you select the tap cold option , the temperature of the water used during the cycle will be equal to the temperature of water from the incoming water supply to your home. In the cold water option, the temperature of the water will be adjusted by mixing some amount of hot water.Thank you for your inquiry on our Maytag appliances.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From the words alone nearly all of us understand this, so the real question is what is that standard “cold” temperature? Is it 50 as implicit in one of the answers? Is it a standard that detergent manufacturers recommend? I have always selected “cold” thinking that it corresponds to some optimal cold water detergent performance.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From Google: The “tap cold” setting uses cold water as it comes out of the tap. In cold climates, or in places where your cold water supply is deeply buried, this could be 50F or colder. The “cold” setting mixes in hot water to reach a standard temperature. ... That is the difference between cold and tap cold.
