The Deep Water Fill does NOT fill the machine with any extra water on the wash cycle (only the rinse cycles). I saw other models that said Deep Water "Wash" instead of Deep Water "Fill", but I don't know if it's true or not.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it does not. I tried the deep water cycle and didn't feel like it was much more water. I'm not happy with the water level choices at all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Trust me, you absolutely DO NOT want this awful washer! I bought it and the very first load began having BIG issues. Luckily the appliance store I purchased it from agreed to pick it up and take it back and in exchange I paid a little more and the wonderful but ugly Speed Queen washer with digital controls which I love. There are thousands of stories online detailing the hellish nightmarish expetiences people have with this worthless piece of expensive junk and it is wrong of Maytag to not recall this washer. I cannot imagine anything worse than if I had ended up stuck with the horrible Maytag for a washing machine. I don't believe I would have had any choice other than just lose the $1,000 I paid for it and take it to dump and buy a different one. I would not have felt right even giving this useless appliance to someone because what good would it be to have a free washer that didn't clean clothes, wouldn't spin water out of clothes leaving them soaking and dripping wet, would only start occassionally - the list goes on. It is my hope you did not buy this washer but instead were able to avoid an expensive znd maddening episode in your life and instead purchased literally any other washing machine in existence which would be an improvement on this Maytag This experience has forever turned me against anything made by Maytag. I will forever more avoid that brand like the plaque it hss proven itself to be.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't used all the settings. The bedding setting is one I have used that fills the water above your clothes
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it doesn't. It puts enough water that it thinks it needs, but the deep water cycle will add a little extra water.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just had this installed today. The water is not far above the clothes but all the clothes get wet. The clothes I put on the bottom ended up on the top, so I know they are being moved around. I believe it sprays or adds water at different times to wet all the clothes but doesn't overuse water.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.this is the most disappointing washer, i have pulled clothes out with dry sections even occasionally and i always do an extra rinse, i use bedding cycle mostly and even that is not great but still rewash all the clothes a second time without detergent just to get them clean....I have tried various tricks and all the cycles but it's just a big bad piece of junk....i have had it a couple years but will probably replace it soon since this is such a bad piece of engineering....will not purchase a maytag again...matching dryer works ok but clothes are always very wrinkled
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This machine was a horrible machine. I really don't think they make it anymore. I will tell you in 2006 Maytag was bought out by Whirlpool and they are treating Maytag like a step child. This is the worst brand now. I hope I have saved someone from buying this brand. It says it made in USA but when mine control panel went out my husband loves to fix things if he can. He's retired aircraft mechanic loves to tinker. Well he found the part but it was going to cost half of the original cost of the machine. The part was made in China too ! With no guarantee for the part either. So we trashed Maytag and bought Samsung .
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Washer, The deep water cycle provides additional water and alternating wash action for heavily soiled mixed loads. Water-level sensing process may take longer for some items than for others because they will absorb more water than other fabric types. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Maytag appliances!
