Is this range self-cleaning? null

This range indicates that it is self-cleaning, but the feature is not at all the type of self-cleaning that you may be used to. I wish I had googled AquaLift self-cleaning before I bought this range.

It cleans with steam. By placing 2 cups of distilled water in bottom tray and running clean cycle. You do have to put some muscle into wiping down oven sides (if you have splatter on your oven walls) Instructions advise you to not use abrasive cleaners. With a little work, my oven came out clean like new.

I agree!! This is by far the worst self cleaning I have ever witnessed! It is done in 40 minutes and the "steam" cleaning feature is a joke. Nothing came off except for a few pieces that were soaking in all the water at the bottom.
