We had the same problem although I installed it. Since the gas fitting is plastic I went and purchased the yellow plumbers tape and sealed all of the fittings. Gas leak stopped.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would turn the gas off on the gas line coming into your home for the dryer and see if the smell goes away if so there may be a leak at either connection.

I love this dryer it was a great purchase and researched it before I bought it! Best of luck maybe call the installer! I know my guy sprayed some stuff to make sure there were no leaks when on!
