- Answer Ours too. 3 years old and the thing is SOOO loud and we've had a guy come out and "fix" it but the noise came right back. Today I searched youtube and there is an excellent DIY video on there if you are trying to save $$, GREAT video, It's titled "Maytag Bravos Annoying Dryer Squeal Diagnosis and Repair".

QuestionMy dryer is making a loud noise when it’s drying/tumbling. What could it be? I’m not over loading it, it drys fine it’s just loud when it’s on. Can I get it serviced or is it time for a new dryer. The last owners left it prior to us moving in.
