QuestionWe had a power outage and now the dryer won’t heat up to dry the clothes. I have reset the dryer breaker . That’s all the Manual gives for troubleshooting. Is there an internal fuse that may have blown.

- Answer Bobby, yes this Dryer can be vented from the back, sides, or bottom. In order to do this, a separate Vent Kit (part# W10704365) would need to be purchased separately. - Answer BestBuy charge $15 for each appliance for haul away in the Boston area. Free delivery of purchase is over $400. The extended warranty wants new hoses and new cord on the dryer when you have BestBuy extended warranty.

- Answer Most electric dryers do not come with a cord. The reason is that there are different types of power outlets, either 3 prong or 4 prong. They sell different types of cords so you can select the one that fits your home power outlet.

QuestionI see from every website I go to that this dryer can have the exhaust vent out of the side . If I buy this dryer from you is that something do as part of the installation ? I want this dryer but it must be vented on the right side

- Answer Yes it can be done, but you must go with a sales associate that knows what they are talking about. Took a few tries but got someone to charge me and set up the install. Only hiccup is that at first they ordered the wrong vent kit. It’s gonna be a Samsung brand that can be used. Also not all 3rd party installers can do it so that may be another challenge you have. Sku for Samsung vent is 5256700 and sku for install is 7111023 (select markets). That should make life easier there, hope this helps.

- Answer Add 1-2 inches more to the washer for room for the vent hose. My dryer isn't flushed with the washer although I purchased them as a set. My dryer sticks out about 1/2 an inch or so. I am still pleased with it. Looks great. Not too shabby. The young gentleman who installed it did his best to make it flushed and I say he did his best. The vent hose is pretty big so it needs additional inch or so. Hope that helps.

QuestionI see someone said a dryer rack can be purchase separately but the Maytag site does not list it as an accessory to the machine. Is there a specific part number we can all go buy to purchase one? It's proving difficult to find one and know it will work.
