I recorded something the other night that was two hours and 45 minutes and it used 13.06 GB of space on an external hard drive. So I believe you should get approximately six hours and 30 minutes, maybe a bit more with the 32 GB. I also use a 32 and 64 GB USB and they hold quite a bit, although can't tell you how many hours since I delete most programs after watching them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Divide by 4 = Number of I Hour Programs on 32gb.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am using the same drive size and have recorded 4 hours in a row, didn't put a dent in the amount of space used, but I don't really know because I usually erase what I have recorded after viewing it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. An answer to this question by Susie 1 year ago included that she also uses a 64 GB drive, I'm thinking she meant flash drive. I just bought this Mediasonic unit, and I couldn't record on my 64 GB flash drive. It works fine with an 8 GB flash drive, and I was able to record 2.5 hours. I want to find out how much I could record with this flash drive and the maximum GB flash drive that will work with the unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. With 32 GB, you can record maybe 3 hours HD program. Just connect a 2 TB memory San Disk to record hours of program and you don’t have to worry about space.
