If you had the watch on its charger overnight, and your loved ones were registered on the portal to be able to check on your status, they could determine that you had not changed location since the last time they checked. Knowing this, hey could ask local authorities to go to your location and find you.

• A:Answer This device does not rely on your existing phone for communication -- it is in effect a self-contained small cellphone/smartphone that automatically dials Medical Guardian directly when you request help. You would just need to verify that AT&T provides service in your area. Your phone continues to use Verizon, while this device uses AT&T separately.

• A:Answer wNo. You can only push butt and talk through the cell phone. It’s not a cell phone. In order to work, it must be paired to a phone. It’s basically a Bluetooth device

Q: QuestionMy moms current att cell service is sporadic in her rural area. Can I test it there to see if it works? Does the watch support 5g? Can I add this att device to our her existing multi phone plan so I get one bill?

• A:Answer This watch uses a 3G network, not a 4G. It is a weaker signal overall. My mom lives in an "iffy" spot and sometimes I don't think it is picking up a signal, especially for all the other options such as messaging and GPS through the portal for caregivers and family. They need to improve what they have.
