Hello, The port on the Portable CD Player is designed for earbuds. If you try to hookup to your truck the AUX cable may not send the sound to the vehicle.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The CD Player does NOT have its own speakers, only a headphone jack. I used a cable to go from the headphone jack into my car's AUX jack and I hear the sound through my car's speaker system. All volume controls are through my car's speaker system. The power source is from a cigarette lighter power adapter which reduces the 12 volt power down to 6 volts. The Memorex data sheet says 5 volts is required, but I bought a Memorex 6 volt adapter on E-Bay and it works great.

The CD Player does not have its own speakers. It has a headphone jack which I plugged into the AUX jack in the car. It works perfectly in my car, which does not have a CD player.
