I am not sure how good the pro pods are but will say I purchased the eero to cover my a dead zone in my living room, boost the WiFi on my wireless PS4 and extend coverage outside onto my Deck and yard. Let’s just say it was a great investment where outside of the house I have 70+ On download and 45+ on upload outside of the house. I recommended it to my brother and a friend and they are also happy with their purchase.

When school started this fall, it went from being "okay" to being "woefully inadequate.' I have two college kids and one high schooler needing bandwidth. As I did my research, I realized why. The Xfinity wireless modem/router is a generation or two old and does not have the horsepower to keep up with video teleconferencing. I bought an Arris 32x8 modem and the EERO mesh wifi system (one base and two satellites). So much better now. Kids aren't complaining about getting kicked out of Zoom meetings and we can still watch streaming TV at the same time.
